2022 Southbound Summary

Our vehicle trip odometer said we traveled 1,152.2 miles. Adding up the fuel stop odometers, the total came to 1,159 miles.  That's pretty close so let's just use 1,159. We consumed 90.82 gallons of fuel for a total cost of $376.08.  The average cost for our fuel was $4.14 per gallon.  We paid a low of $3.69 in Salina, Utah. Rural Utah fuel prices account for our high aveage per gallon cost. Our overall fuel economy was 12.76 mpg with a low of 11.81 and a high of 13.66 mpg. Cost per mile figured to about 33 cents. Our shortest southbound travel route is 800 miles. ...
